A short tour in Broome


Life is completely different in Broome. It feels like being in another world. It’s remote, scenically beautiful, unique, and its miles from Melbourne. Broome is in Western Australia and it’s not big. Many of Broome's attractions are segregated in one area. So even if someone has less time he or she can see a lot in a single day. There are lots of amazing things to do in Broome for the visitors.

From sunrise to sunset there is so much to do in Cable Beach. Cable Beach is ranked as one of Australia’s best beach as it is twenty two kilometer wide and flat sweeping beach. The name of Cable Beach comes from the telegraph cable that was installed between Java and Broome in 1889. It is perfect for long walks, beach cricket, meditation, polo, building sandcastles and other things to do in Broome.People can rent a seat and an umbrella and enjoy sun, swim. The winter water is stinger free and it’s perfect for beach games. There is another popular beach in Broome, Town Beach on Roebuck Bay. When those blue colors come out, it becomes more stunning than Cable beach.

Another attraction in Broome is Sun Pictures. Sun Pictures is the world’s oldest running open air picture gardens. Don’t expect anything glam in Sun Pictures, this is totally traditional Broome style, lying on the grass or sitting on some desk chairs of the tropical garden gazing up at the big screen. The Sun Pictures show two movies every evening and are must things to do in Broome. Movie in such environment is simply amazing.

Chinatown is very popular in Broome. It reminds the Broome's history with its unusual mix of Colonial and Asian architecture. The original industrial and commercial centre of the town was once busy with pearl sheds; entertainment houses, billiard saloons, and Chinese eateries. Now Chinatown is Broome's main shopping destination. There are lots of souvenir shops over there.  .People may find some of the world's finest pearl showrooms here and some of them to be precise. So a short visit to Chinatown is must things to do in Broome. Even if a person is not here to buy pearls he or she will enjoy browsing the different shops and foods.

Broome is situated in the western top end of Australia. The place is tropical and one of the hottest places on earth. So better Prepare to sweat and spend some time in the pool, if someone visits in summer. The perfect timing will be November to April.  The days are magnificent and evenings are cool. If someone wants to do camping he or she must book it in advance.
